Ravil Muratov: it is necessary to finish provision of veterans with housing by May 1

Work of providing housing for veterans of Great Patriotic War and families of the fallen registered before March 1, 2005 is nearing the end in Tatarstan. Videoconference on issues of preparation and holding celebration of 65-anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War was held in RT Cabinet by Acting Prime minister Ravil Muratov.

“We have to provide all veterans with housing by May, 1”, Ravil Muratov strictly set the task for the meeting’s attendants once again.

Currently there are 34 people in republican summary list of housing subsidy receivers, which have a direct relation to Great Patriotic War and registered before March 1,2005. 23 of them are planning to acquire housing by program “Available housing”, 11 prefer doing it on their own in housing market.

Work on making the register of war veterans and families of the fallen who are in need of housing and were registered before March 1, 2005 is being continued. For March 31, 2010 7115 people are registered for receiving the subsidies. Among them are 2369 disabled war veterans, 71 participants and 21 people awarded with the symbol “Resident of blockade Leningrad”, 4654 widows of war veterans.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
