Large-scale gas cutoff is being planned in capital of Tatarstan - Kazan in connection with demount and insertion of gas pipeline while constructing the road junction in Yamasheva prospectus and Dekabristov street.
Acting prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Ravil Muratov held meeting on the process of gas cutoff and informing citizens in House of RT government.
Representatives of city gas services, RT Ministry of civil defence and emergency situations, heads of Kazan district administrations took part in the meeting.
Ravil Muratov informed that 48 thousand flats, 738 houses of private sector, 49 boiler houses, 10 heating boiler houses and 800 flats with autonomous gas heating will be cut off gas.
Demount and insertion of gas pipeline will touch upon three districts - Moskovsky, Kirovsky, and Novo-Savinovsky.
The works are to be started at 6 o’clock on April, 19. There has never been such large-scale gas cutoff in Kazan. The workers asked about informing citizens via mass media.
Works on gas cutoff and connection to gas pipeline will continue within 24 hours and a half. But further gas startup may take more time, specialists suppose. That’s why it is necessary to inform citizens that in some houses there will be no gas on April, 19-24.
It was noted that during this period the network load will increase since electrical home appliances will be used in large scale.
