President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in first session of organization committee on preparation and holding VIII All-Russian summer village sport games
The session was held in Moscow under chairmanship of first deputy chairman of Russian government Viktor Zubkov.
We remind that VIII All-Russian summer village sport games-2010 will be held on July,7-13 in Elabuga city (Tatarstan).
Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov reported on course of preparation for games. He stressed that all services, infrastructure and sport objects are being prepared. All the works are being done according to the approved plan. Rustam Minnikhanov is confident that the republic will organize All-Russian summer village sport games in Elabuga up to the mark.
President of Tatarstan told members of organization committee about Elabuga sightseeings s and famous people who had lived and worked here painter Ivan Shishkin, psychoneurologist Vladimir Bekhterev, cavalry girl Nadezhda Durova and others).
Chairman of organization committee Viktor Zubkov noted that Tatarstan demonstrates a high level of readiness for holding All-Russian competitions.
Representatives of Russian Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of sport, tourism and youth policy and Head of Ministry of regional development Viktor Basargin delivered speeches at the session.
On completing the session RT Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev informed that in year of celebration of 65-anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War the flame of VIII All-Russian summer village sport games – 2010 will be lighted from The Eternal Flame in Moscow (Aleksandrovsky garden). It will be brought to Elabuga by the relay with participation of sportsmen from Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Chuvash and Tatarstan regions.
Marat Bariev said likewise that a symboli and talisman of VIII All-Russian summer village sport games have been approved at the session.
The head referee of sport games in Elabuga has also been assigned – deputy of RF State Duma Ildar Gilmutdinov.
