Ravil Muratov: Tatarstan will contribute more into development of national cosmonautics

Acting Prime minister of Republic Tatarstan Ravil Muratov congratulated all citizens of Tatarstan on Day of cosmonautics. “Day of cosmonautics is a special holiday for our country. With a flight of Yury Gagarin new cosmic era and development of earth civilization began along with widespread scientific discoveries and creation of high technologies. From this very moment enormous possibilities and perspectives were open for mankind”, - the greeting says, - This triumph of human mind was real due to talent, toil, and courage of designers, scientists, cosmonauts and all staff of rocket-cosmic sector. We are proud of having a right to be called a “cosmic power” and today Russia is considered to be one of the leaders in the sphere of cosmic research and manned flights.

It is especially pleasant to say that many discoveries which predetermined march of world history were implemented in Tatarstan. The graduates of technical universities multiply traditions introduced by pioneers by active participation in developing and launching of cosmic systems and new unique technologies. We have trusted Tatarstan enterprises more than once in realizing state orders for producing important components of space rockets.

Our republic was one of the first in Russia to use space technologies within the framework of Federal space program and Federal target program “Global navigation satellite system”. This has already resulted in increasing efficiency of Emergency service on M7 highway, improvement of control for state of environment in forestry and agriculture, river basins and large industrial regions.

I am sure, if government pays special attention to cosmonautics sector, contribution of Tatarstan will increase then. I congratulate all citizens of Republic Tatarstan on this remarkable holiday! I wish new labour and creative achievements, strong health and well-being”, - the greeting says.
