Rustam Minnikhanov and German Gref present new Head of Sberbank in Tatarstan to the staff

New Head of branch “Bank Tatarstan” of Russian Sberbank has been presented to the staff, - Rushan Sakhbiev of 36 years, former First deputy chairman of West-Siberian bank management. Gennady Zakharov has been at the head since 1988. This year he clebrated 75-anniversary and has retired.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President of RF Sberbank management German Gref presented new head of the branch.

Gennady Zakharov also took part in the ceremony. By words of German Gref he was proposed to become Counselor of new Head of Russian Sberbank in Tatarstan.

German Gref presented Letter of honour to Gennady Zakharov on behalf of Sberbank leadership.

Gennady Zakharov, in his turn stressed that during 20 years of his management of branch “Bank Tatarstan” a lot has been done on creation of production basis. Ex-head of the bank thanked German Gref for high assessment of his work and assured that Russian Sberbank in RT will be developing regardless of its leader.

Speaking about a new head German Gref noted that Rushan Sakhbiev has showed himself in a proper manner on his former post that is why he has been offered to become chief of branch “Bank Tatarstan” of Russian Sberbank.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov underlined: “We have no doubt that you will fit in with serious and qualified staff. I wish your bank be one of the leaders in our country”.

Addressing the bank’s staff German Gref asked everyone approach their duties responsibly, improve their skills and support the new chief in his work.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Your high professionalism, courage and dedication to duty are a reliable shield against external and internal threats.
