13 April 2010, Tuesday

This year more than 2 000 young families in Tatarstan will get housing under the subprogram “Providing housing for young families” of federal target program “Housing” for 2002-2010 years”. This was announced by acting minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Marat Bariev at a briefing in RT Cabinet. It was held in mode of videoconference with participation of all municipal regions. CEO of State housing fund under RT President Talgat Abdullin also took part in the event.

It is expected that within the frameworks of contest procedures conducted by Russian Ministry of regional development among RF regions this year Tatarstan will receive 770 mln. roubles from federal budget.

We remind that since 2006 within priority national project “Available and comfortable housing for Russian citizens” the program “Providing housing for young families” of federal target program “Housing” for 2002-2010 years” has been realized in Republic Tatarstan. It implies that young families (both spouses aged to 35 years) receive gratuitous subsidy (social payment) for obtaining housing.

Tatarstan takes the first place in Russia by volumes of financial means allocated for realization of subprogram. From 2006 to 2009 years more than 5 000 families in 33 municipal units received gratuitous social payments for obtaining housing in the total sum of 2,41 bln. roubles.

The scheme of using maternal capital for compensation of expenses for flat purchase by a young family has been arranged.

It should be mentioned that the program has become rather popular in republic because the scheme of its realization is quite convenient. Moreover, young families are provided with new housing via State housing fund under RT President.

Authorized bank - “Ak Bars Bank” extends mortgage credits to young families on terms of 12,9 % for the period up to 20 years. The program enjoys the great economic effect - during its implementation 3,6 bln. roubles have been invested to building sector (financial means of banks and citizens).
