Rustam Minnikhanov pays an official visit to Qatar

On December 7, upon his arrival in Doha (Qatar) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov was met by Qatar’s Minister of Youth and Sport Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al Ali at the airport.

During his visit Minnikhanov will hold a number of official meetings with country’s leadership. In particular, during today’s meeting with Qatar’s Minister of Economy and Trade Sheikh Ahmed Bin Jassim Bin Mohamed Al Thani the most prospective areas for cooperation, primarily in the field of economy will be discussed.

Tomorrow, on December 8, meetings with His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, The Father Emir of Qatar, as well as with Qatar’s Prime Minister - Minister of Internal Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani are planned. Besides, Minnikhanov will take part in a round table with participation of the Qatar Investment Department, Chamber of Commerce of Qatar and Qatari businessmen. Also, a meeting with the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development «Qatar Foundation» is scheduled.
