Gennady Emelyanov assigned post of acting Head of Elabuga executive committee

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov is in Elabuga municipal region with working visit. He is participating in special 34th organizational session of Elabuga region council.

One of the discussed questions has been retirement of Head of Elabuga municipal region of Republic Tatarstan Ilshat Gafurov.

Ilshat Gafurov resigned in connection with his assignment to the post of rector of Kazan (Volga) federal university on April,8,2010. Ilshat Gafurov has been the head of Elabuga region since 1998 year.

Later, at a special 34th organizational session of Elabuga region council Gennady Emelyanov was assigned to the post of the first deputy head of executive committee of Elabuga region and acting head of executive committee. Formerly he had been performing the duties of RT acting minister of transport and road facilities.

On 24 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a charity action “The Christmas Tree of Wishes” held during the 17th session of the State Council of the republic of the seventh convocation. The Head of the Government of the republic will fulfill wishes of five-year old Landysh who dreams of a guitar, 13-year old Zariva who will get a smart speaker, eight-year old Leyla dreaming of a bike and 16-year old Evelina who will be given an e-book.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.
