Rustam Minnikhanov meets president of SAP in Europe, Middle East and Africa Franck Cohen

On December 10, at his meeting with president of SAP in Europe, Middle East and Africa Franck Cohen at Tatarstan Government House, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said that effective economic activity, production and logistics processes are impossible without modern management systems.

He noted that Tatarstan companies are satisfied with cooperation with SAP, however, they mention high prices of the company’s products which depends heavily on currency fluctuations. For further effective cooperation the president wanted to discuss optimization of the maintenance cost and personnel training in Tatarstan.

Franck Cohen thanked Rustam Minnikhanov for the meeting and assured that the company is willing to develop cooperation with Tatarstan. In particular, SAP intends to open its office and service center in Innopolis Specialized Economic Zone, and cooperate with regional small and medium-size enterprises.

Joint projects based on partner enterprises, localization of IT solutions in Russia and investment into IT industry were discussed at the meeting.
