Tatarstan President launches rubber mixing line at KVART plant

15 December 2015, Tuesday

On December 15, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited the modernized rubber mixing line at Kazan rubber plant ("KVART" JSC). Due to installation of new equipment the production capacity increased by 6, 000 tonnes of rubber mixtures per year.

Rustam Minnikhanov was told that the 2nd and the 3d stages of modernization that include full technical upgrade of the production line are planned for 2016-2018.

Later on the same day, Rustam Minnikhanov and KVART Director General Rafael Galimov launched the new line and visited the production site “KVART-Sidzhit” that was founded in 2008 to promote produce of the plant in domestic and external markets.

Currently, it produces goods for OOO “Automotive Lighting”, JSC “Indesit-International”, and OOO “Leoni RUS”.

Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. Every year the contribution of volunteers into public life of the republic becomes more noticeable.

Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov takes part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
