More than 136, 000 people to visit Tatarstan theatres during New Year holidays

On December 15, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, first deputy minister of culture Elvira Kamalova said that more than 136, 000 people will visit Tatarstan theatres during New Year holidays. She noted that it is a good opportunity to visit concert halls and different events. This year Tatar state philharmonic hall named after G.Tukai and S.Saidashev state big concert hall will be the main venues.

It is expected that 33, 000 children and their parents will start visiting events from the middle of December. Most tickets were sold in the middle of November.

A lot of events connected with cinematography will be held in Mir cinema that was called the center of Russian cinematography.

The speaker informed that work on ensuring safety of visitors in all culture institutions is underway. Fire safety and anti-terrorist instructions have been given. Performances of variety artists will be held on December 29,30,31 and January 1,3,5,7.
