Ildar Khalikov presents new Minister of informatization and communication

Today RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented new Head to the staff of Ministry of informatization and communication. Nikolay Nikiforov, former Head of Centre of information technologies (CIT) had been appointed to this post.

Nikolay Nikiforov who combines two posts – head of Ministry of informatization and communication and Deputy chairman of RT government is the youngest vice-premier in republican leadership, representative of “President’s “hundred” of staff reserve”. Nikolay Nikiforov of 27 years was born in Kazan, graduated from the faculty of economy of Kazan State University. Earlier he worked as Deputy director of company “Kazan portal” and Deputy director of JSC “Modern Internet Technologies”. Before new assignment Nikolay Nikiforov had been Advisor to prime minister on information technologies – director general of State Institution “Centre of information technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Ildar Khalikov highly assessed initiative of trusting such a high post to representative of new generation of managers. “It is important that there are leaders who see such young qualified people”, - Prime minister stressed.

RT Prime Minister thanked former minister Farit Fazylzyanov who headed Ministry of informatization and communication since 2005. “This man has done a lot so that our republic gained reputation of a leading region in Russia in the sphere of information technologies and communication”, - Ildar Khalikov stressed. Prime Minister wished new Head of the ministry successful work at new responsible post.

Farit Fazylzyanov was elected as a member of new Directors board of JSC “Tattelekom”. He announced that he was not ashamed of leaving his post due to enormous work conducted by ministry’s staff. “We have to support Nikolay Anatolievich to continue traditions which had been successfully established in our sphere, - ex-minister said. “When I started working here to devote myself to people living in republic – it is the main duty of state official. Never forget about it”.

Nikolay Nikiforov said that experience of ex-minister will be surely needed.
