On December 19, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the progress of construction of social and housing facilities in Innopolis.
Upon his arrival in a high-tech city, Minnikhanov visited its main power complex, consisting of an electrical substation and boiler. He was reported that two transformers, with a power 63 MVA each, and the boiler plant designed for 34 MW are operating in the center. These facilities are designed to provide electricity and heat to the entire city. Minnikhanov examined technical and auxiliary premises of the building, talked to workers.
Then Tatarstan President checked the work of a sewage treatment plant, designed to serve 5,000 people.
After that, participants of the detour visited water treatment and pumping stations, which are under construction now. Minnikhanov was told that the total length of pipes is about 50 km. He has given an errand to control the work of contractors and put the object into operation within the stated period.
Then he looked around a pedestrian area in front of the university campus. In particular, he checked the convenience of benches and appreciated the work of designers.
Minnikhanov also visited a new school for 480 children, where he was demonstrated classrooms, laboratories, a dining room and a swimming pool.
At the end of his visit to Innopolis Minnikhanov went to the medical center. Minister of Health of the republic Vafin Adel said that all necessary equipment has been already delivered and staff has been recruited. Minnikhanov looked around surgeries and talked to doctors. He also appreciated how the first-aid station is equipped and offered to serve ski resort visitors there.
