RT President Rustam Minnikhanov holds meetings in Copenhagen

We remind that Rustam Minnikhanov is in capital of Denmark Kingdom with two-day visit in official Russian delegation accompanying President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in course of his state visit to Denmark Kingdom.

According to Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov, Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of group of companies Rockwool (Denmark) Mr Elko Van Hill. They discussed construction of new production woks on the territory of special economic zone “Alabuga” (Tatarstan).

Elko Van Hill said that construction of the plant in special economic zone “Alabuga” is to be launched in the nearest future. Besides, he informed that he had planned visit to Tatarstan in June, 2010 to see the building site of new plant.

The plant of Rockwool company will produce noncombustible heat-insulating materials from rock wool for using in constructions of roofs, facades, suspended ceiling, partition walls, floors and products for fire protection and sound isolation (see more - http://info.tatcenter.ru/industry/53281.htm )

Rustam Minnikhanov also met with leadership of company Haldor Topsoe (Denmark) which is closely cooperating with Russian industrial enterprises and scientific organizations. In particular, in Tatarstan it is occupied with such large-scale projects as Complex of oil-refining and petrochemical plant (project of JSC “TANEKO”), complex on producing ammonia, methanol and granulated carbamide in Mendeleevsk (project “Ammonium”).

During negotiations with leadership of Haldor Topsoe Rustam Minnikhanov proposed cooperation in scientific and educational spheres. He stressed that Kazan technological university had obtained the status of national research university and announced that one may use advantages of Kazan scientific school in research activity and development of new equipment.

Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov informed that Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in solemn receptions on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark Margaret II and Prime Minister of the country Lars Rasmussen, in meetings with Danish businessmen and work of Russian-Danish business forum.
