Tatarstan President takes part in opening of Galeev mosque

On December 22, within celebrating Mawlid an-Nabi (the Birth of Prophet Muhammad) Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the opening ceremony of Galeev mosque.
Being built in 1798, Galeev Mosque  is the property of cultural heritage of the Russian Federation and Tatar architectural monument. The restoration and repair works started in the building by a resolution of Tatarstan President in 2014.  
Having looked around the mosque, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that it is 200 years old and one of the ancient ones in the republic. In addition, Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that the restoration of Galeev House will be completed. 
Tatarstan Mufti Kamil Samigullin expressed his gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov and people who contributed to reconstruction of the mosque. Later the President participated in a festive prayer.
