RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of new building of air terminal “Bugulma”

Today RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of new building of air terminal “Bugulma” in Bugulma municipal region. He thanked everyone who had participated in realization of such an important project.

We remind that air terminal “Bugulma” and complex of airport buildings, hotel and certified centre of engineering service belong to JSC “Ak Bars Aero” (it has been in JSC “Holding company “Ak Bars” since 2005). Before 2009 JSC “Ak Bars Aero” had the name JSC “Bugulma aviation enterprise”.

New building of air terminal will allow improving the quality passenger service and increase passenger flow.

Speaking at ceremony of opening air terminal “Bugulma” Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stressed that the whole system of training and preparation of pilots and centre of airplanes maintenance had been created in Bugulma. He also reminded that the park of airplanes “Ak Bars Aero” is being renewed.

JSC “Ak Bars Aero” has purchased modern airplanes of Canadian company Bombardier Aerospace (CRJ200 LR).

“I am sure that “Ak Bars Aero” will take deserving place at the market of air transportation making regular flights in Tatarstan and Russia”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Head of republic surveyed new building of air terminal “Bugulma”. He was accompanied by RT Vice-premier – Minister of energetics Ilshat Fardiev, Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev, Chairman of directors board of “Ak Bars” bank Robert Musin.
