Parade dedicated to 65th Victory in Great Patriotic War took place on Millennium square

A  military parade  by troops of Kazan garrison, Ministry of interiors of  Russian Federation on Tatarstan,   RT Ministry of emergency situations      Cadet corps  and military students  has  taken  place today  on  the  Millennium   square of Kazan  РТ.

In the events dedicated to 65th  Great Victory took part President of Republic Rustam Minnikhanov.

Official  actions  on the Millennium square began  by theatrical  prolog  “Heritors of Great Victory!”

Then, the   state flags of Republic Tatarstan and Russian Federation,   Banner of Victory  trooped the color. The parade was received by chief of Kazan garrison general major Valeri  Mironchenko.

Further, he reported  President Rustam Minnikhanov    on readiness  for parade.

This year  direct broadcasting  of parade on Red square   from Moscow   was  switched. Parade participants in Kazan could watch  a process of  festive actions  in capital  of Russia on  big  video walls  set on the Millennium square.

President of Russian Federation   Dmitri Medvedev  congratulated  whole country on V-day Holiday.

After  video from Moscow general military orchestra performed hymns of Russian Federation and Republic of Tatarstan.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov  congratulated  the  veterans of war and rear, military service men of Kazan garrison on behalf of RT State Council, RT Government  and from his person on 65th Victory  in Great Patriotic War.
