Today President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is in Turkish Republic with official Russian delegation headed by President of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.
Dmitry Medvedev is going to arrive in Ankara today’s evening.
According to Aide to Tatarstan President Iskander Muflikhanov on May, 12 an official program will start from visiting memorial complex of founder of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and laying flowers to the memorial.
Later on, negotiations with President of Turkey Abdullah Gül and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are planned.
Within Russian-Turkish negotiations a number of political and economic documents are to be signed and regional problems interesting for both countries are to be discussed.
Among the key issues of negotiations will be economic cooperation in the sphere of power engineering, cancellation of visa regime between two counties and security.
Participation in Russian-Turkish business forum is planned likewise.
“Tatneft” company and Deputy director general of JSC “Tatneft” Nail Maganov represent business community of Republic Tatarstan at the forum.
In the course of visiting Turkish Republic Russian delegation plans to visit Parliament of Turkey and meet Chairman of Parliament Mehmet Ali Şahin.
We remind that Head of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov is the only representative of subject of the federation within official Russian delegation.
