8338 veterans on record after March, 1, 2005 for gaining housing

At a meeting in House of RT government RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin informed that there are 8338 veterans registered after March, 1, 2005 for gaining housing.

The meeting on issues of providing housing for veterans was held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov in mode of videoconference with participation of all municipal regions.

Speaking to participants of the meeting Airat Shafigullin informed that 46 veterans had died for the last week.

Members of district commissions have visited 8200 veterans; 7491 veterans have received notices about allocation of subsidies; 4847 people have concluded agreements for improving living conditions. Subsidies for 1089 veterans have entered the accounts in “Ak Bars” bank.

Airat Shafigullin noted good work on providing housing for veterans in Pestrechinsky, Bugulminsky and Vysokogorsky regions.

CEO of State housing fund under RT President Talgat Abdullin informed that for today 2549 veterans have concluded agreements with the fund, 2146 people have already chosen flats.

Talgat Abdullin pointed out the issue of transferring money for construction of housing. 2 bln. roubles more are needed to provide all veterans with housing.

Ildar Khalikov said that republic has already got 5,9 bln. roubles. Additionally, 2 bln. roubles are expected to be received.

Head of RT government suggested so that local authorities explain veterans all details of housing allocation.
