Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov meets delegation from Turkmenistan

On January 20, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met delegation from Turkmenistan headed by Chairman of the Executive committee of the 5th Asian games Dayanch Gulgeldiev that arrived in Kazan to study the experience in holding big international sports events. The V Asian Indoors and Martial Arts Games will be in Ashgabat in 2017.

Ildar Khalikov noted that Turkmenistan is a strategic partner of Tatarstan, and cooperation in the contest of preparation for Asian games is an important area in developing bilateral relations.

Khalikov continued that the republic obtained a lot of experience during Universiade-2013 and FINA World championship 2015. He briefly told about organization of “clean zones”, transport support and catering services for athletes.

Dayanch Gulgeldiev thanked Ildar Khalikov for the organization of the visit of the delegation. He added that during their stay in Kazan, the guests held a few meetings and found out about principles of work of the Executive Directorate for Sports Projects. He stressed that Tatarstan’s experience will be useful during the preparation for the 5th Asian games.
