On January 20, during his working trip to Davos (January 19-22) to take part in World Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended a session “Around the world without fuel or fear” held in the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre.
The session was dedicated to the explorers who are set to break the record for the world’s longest solo flight using only solar energy.
The session “New era for mineral resources” dedicated to investigations of the impact of global economic situation on business was held later on.
More than 2.5 thousand leaders, including heads of 40 states and governments, and managers of multinational companies took part in events held during the forum.
The Russian delegation is presented by Vide-Premier, Russian Presidential envoy in the Far East Yuri Trutnev.
Yuri Trutnev, ex-minister of finance Aleksei Kudrin, and head of Vnesheconombank Vladimir Dmitriev will speak at a special section “Forecast for Russia”.
Moreover, Russian Minister for the development of the Far East Aleksandr Galushka, Sberbank President and Board chairman German Gref, Board chairman of “Severstal” Aleksei Mordashev, Board chairman of AFK “Sistema” Vladimir Evtushenkov, and Rosnano Director General Anatoly Chubais will take part in session and panel discussions.
Climate change and migration problems are also among global urgent problems to be discussed at the forum.
