Ildar Khalikov: Employees of Tatarstan customs can deal with all tasks today

On January 26, at a summary session of Tatarstan customs, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov estimated the work of the institution. He noted that the republic now faces a number of important tasks, which are minimizing the influence of negative events on Tatarstan economy and paying ability, attraction of investments, and reversing the trend of drop in the living standards. In these conditions employees of the customs service should follow the legislation, control customs operations, and create comfortable conditions for local producers.

The Prime Minister added that during the FINA World Championship 2015, Tatarstan customs showed itself to the best advantage and well-coordinated work.

Joint support of priority investments projects included in the investment memorandum of the Republic of Tatarstan was rendered in 2015. Timely legal support in the context of road maps developed with participants of foreign economic activity enables to distribute resources and reduce dead expenses when the complex equipment is imported to the republic.

Among the priority tasks for 2016 Ildar Khalikov pointed out keeping the same volume of industrial output and sales markets, ensuring favourable investment climate in the republic, and coordination of the customs work with administration of Innopolis Specialized Economic Zone.
