Further cooperation on a number of projects was a central issue at the meeting of Tatarstan President and JSC Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov on June 7.
The meeting attended by Lukoil top managers, JSC RITEK Director General Nikolay Nikolayev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Ravil Zaripov, JSC Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov and First Deputy Director General Nail Maganov took place at the Kazan Kremlin.
The Tatarstan President thanked Vagit Alekperov for the company’s support for the restoration project of history monuments in Tatarstan.
Earlier today, the Memorandum on JSC Lukoil’s participation in restoration of monuments of history and culture in the town of Bulgar and the island town of Sviyazhsk, Tatarstan. In particular, JSC Lukoil committed to fund 45 mln roubles in 2010-2012 (15 mln roubles per year).
Among other joint projects with JSC Lukoil Rustam Minnikhanov suggested that cooperation should be established with Kazan State Technological University on research in petrochemistry and oil refinement. He also reminded that this spring Kazan State Technological University had received the status of a national research university.
Then, Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to JSC Lukoil to consider the opportunity of attending e-auctions in Tatarstan’s e-marketplace, being one of five federal e-marketplaces.
After the meeting, JSC Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov spoke with journalists.
