Rustam Minnikhanov will attend St. Petersburg International Economic Forum

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 17. Bringing together world policy makers and entrepreneurs to discuss key challenges the Russian Federation is facing, the forum is one of major events in Russia’s economic life.

The Tatarstan President will attend the plenary meeting ‘Russia – Today and Tomorrow. The World under change’, have a number of meetings with CEOs of Russian and foreign companies such as Nokia, Troika Dialogue, Gruppa E4, Russian automobile roads. Strategic partnership in such spheres as trade and economy, research and technology, investment will be discussed at the meetings. It is planned that an agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Oil Company Lukoil will be signed. Besides, the Tatarstan President’s agenda includes meetings with Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, representatives of the Tatar community in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Oblast, a visit to the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library.

Tatarstan Economy Minister Marat Safiullin, Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Ravil Zaripov, Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov, Ak Bars Bank Chairman of the Board Robert Musin and KAMAZ Director General will also take part in the forum.
