On February 18, within the framework of his working visit to Almetyevsk Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov visited Tatburneft Managing Company and Almetyevsk Pipe Plant.
The Tatburneft Managing Company is one of the largest drilling companies in Russia, providing a full range of drilling and well development services for oil companies.
During the tour of the enterprise Director of Tatburneft Lenar Nazipov said that the company founded in 1949 for the exploration and development of fields in Tatarstan, has over 60 years of experience in the construction of wells. During this time, more than 80 million meters of rock have been drilled and more than 49 thousand wells have been put into operation. At present the company drills more than 600 thousand meters of rocks and delivers about 400 wells to customers annually.
During the tour of the Almetyevsk Pipe Plant Director of the enterprise Alexander Tokarev told Khalikov about the history of the plant, achievements and future plans. The factory was established in 1966. Today it is a manufacturing company, fitted with modern equipment for the production of welded steel pipes, as well as the application of high-quality outer polyethylene coating of pipes. The plant the first in Russia has mastered production of pipes with anticorrosive coating. The plant has delivered 9 million tonnes s of steel pipes, more than 1.7 million tonnes of pipes with external polyethylene coating to the markets of Russia, the CIS and non-CIS countries. Over the past ten years, its output has increased almost three times. The target figure for 2016 is 260 thousand tonnes.
“We are constantly working on the product range and expanding sales markets. The scope of our deliveries is Sakhalin, Yakutia, Kemerovo, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk," Tokarev said.
