Rustam Minnikhanov and Viktor Sadovnichiy sign agreement on cooperation between the Republic of Tatarstan and Lomonosov Moscow State University

On February 25, during his working trip to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met rector of Lomonosov Moscow State University Viktor Sadovnichiy.

Rustam Minnikhanov and Viktor Sadovnichiy visited institutes, medical center, university clinics and other buildings of the university.

Rustam Minnikhanov also visited the history museum and met with students and teachers of the university.

Viktor Sadovnichiy reminded participants of the meeting that a famous Tatar poet Musa Dzhalil graduated from Moscow State University. He handed over the title of Honoured professor of Moscow University to Rustam Minnikhanov.

Rustam Minnikhanov thanked for the title and noted that Moscow State University is a unique center of Russian education and science.

The agreement on cooperation for five years was signed between Tatarstan and Lomonosov Moscow State University.
