Ildar Khalikov visits some production facilities in Chistopol

On February 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov arrived in Chistopol to take part in a summing-up meeting of the local Council on results of social and economic development in 2015 and tasks for 2016.

Upon his arrival, Khalikov got acquainted with the work of Betar company, specializing in the design and production of utility metering devices, calibration equipment and various automotive components for GAZ, URAl and KAMAZ cars. At the same time the company is developing the production of operating tools.

Director of the company Rinat Fardiev said that today the Betar products are in demand and are sold in 69 regions of Russia and six countries of the near abroad.  By results of 2015 the total revenue amounted to 2.9 billion roubles. The company employs 592 people, with the average salary of 30,600 roubles.

Particular attention is paid to the modernization of existing facilities. Thus, last year 200 million roubles were allocated for repair of buildings and retrofitting.

Production of cutting tools, dies, robotics, machine tools, and so forth are promising areas for the company.

Khalikov was shown the entire range of products. He asked about quality control procedures, staffing issues and conditions provided for workers.

Then Khalikov visited the Kvest company, specializing in the production of energy-saving LED lamps for street, office and home lighting. The work on the development of new types of products - household LED lamps and industrial lighting fixtures is underway.

Khalikov was reported that in 2015 the total revenues amounted to 46.7 million roubles. The company employs 10 people and the figure is planned to be doubled in March. Director of the Kvest company Radhik Islyamov noted that today the company is actively searching for new sales markets within the framework of import substitution.

Khalikov appreciated the level of organization of modern production and wished success in further development.
