Ildar Khalikov: We should develop organized hunting and fishing tourism in Tatarstan

On March 2, at a session of the Tatarstan interdepartmental commission for ecological safety, nature use and sanitary-epidemiological wellbeing and the Department for wildlife protection and management, Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov said that favourable conditions should be provided for responsible fishermen and hunters in the republic.
Head of the Department for wildlife protection and management Fedor Batkov informed that 41.7 thousand hunting permits were issued in Tatarstan since July 1, 2011.
During the “Nerest” campaign, 535 raids were held from April 25 to July 10 last year. More than 1 thousand people were subjected to administrative liability, 33 criminal cases were opened.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
