HydroMetCenter of the Republic of Tatarstan: Water level in rivers is expected close to normal or lower

On March 11, at a session of the Commission for the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations and fire safety, Head of the weather control and environmental monitoring service of the the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Zakharov said that in the period of seasonal flood water level in rivers is expected close to normal or lower.
According to snow survey taken on March 10, water equivalence of snow cover made 92 per cent of long-term average annual values. The thickness of ice cover is between 17 and 40 sm.
Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Nikolay Surzhko reported on main measures taken during the preparation for the spring flood.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
