On July, 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in visiting session of Council on development of information society under Russian President.
The session was held by RF President Dmitry Medvedev in Tver city.
Members of Council under Russian President discussed issues of using information-communication technologies in social sphere (education, health care, culture).
Dmitry Medvedev said that nowadays it is necessary to concentrate on using information technologies in education, health care and culture. Dmitry Medvedev thinks that all citizens should have access to electronic services. Information technologies should considerably promote improvement of state services. Use of multimedia in educational system will allow to increase efficiency of training.
Answering questions of Dmitry Medvedev RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said that all schools in republic are provided with computer classes and have access to Internet. Rustam Minnikhanov noted also that all pupils have computers but not all teachers do. That is why it was decided to provide all teachers with laptops within two years.
Members of Council on development of information society under Russian President also discussed implementation of information-communication technologies in health care and culture.
