Rustam Minnikhanov visits “Amal” financial house

On March 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and First Deputy Chairman of Central Bank of Russia Alexey Simanovsky visited “Amal” financial house in Kazan. Director of the financial house Rashid Nizameev told about activity of the organization and plans on its further development.

“Amal” financial house opened in 2011 and provides Islamic financial services for legal parties and individuals. The total number of customers is more than two thousand people. The financial house works in accordance with standards of Islamic banking. In particular, money is not invested into production of alcohol and tobacco. The main source of income is extra charges in trade and leasing operations.

Rustam Minnikhanov positively estimated activity of the financial house and wished success in its work.

Capital overhaul of 839 multi-apartment houses completed in Tatarstan with 40 houses still being under repairs

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 5 December, congratulating volunteers with the International Volunteers Day, Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva wrote in her address: “ Your boundless kindness, sincere desire to help others and active civic position deserve special recognition and deep gratitude. There are over 5,000 volunteer associations operating successfully in Tatarstan, with a total membership of over 220,000 caring people of all ages and professions. On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
