International educational centre FISU to be created in Kazan

Memorandum of intentions on creating International educational centre FISU in Russia has been signed in Moscow by President of International Sport University Federation (FISU) George Killian, RF Minister of sport, tourism and youth policy Vitaly Mutko, president of Russian student sports union Oleg Matytsin and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

The Memorandum has been signed within the limits of International sports forum “Russia-country of sports” (Moscow, Olympic complex “Luzhniki”).

International educational centre FISU will be created in Kazan for realization of international, educational, sport and cultural programs in the sphere of student sport. It is planned that the centre will be located in Academy of physical culture, sport and tourism in Kazan. Sport objects of Universiade 2013 will also be used for centre’s work.

“We have received great support from the government and we are ready to create the most up-to-date sports centre in the country, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said.
