Rustam Minnikhanov appeals to regional law enforcement agencies to pay special attention to employees who served in hot spots

On April 16, at a coordination meeting with regional law enforcement authorities held at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov appealed to law enforcement authorities to pay special attention to employees who served in hot spots.

“Everyone should be provided the required social and psychological help in a timely manner. Rehabilitation measures that would help those who came back from combat zones to adjust to the realities of civilian life should be provided for," Minnikhanov said.

The reason for that instruction was an accident that took place in Mirny settlement of Kazan Privolzhsky district on April 15, 2016. Three people were killed in an indiscriminate shooting at the Dinamo sports base. A veteran of the Chechen war, a former police officer Sergei Ivanov is presumed guilty of this accident.

Capital overhaul of social and cultural facilities completed in Tatarstan

On 20 December, speaking at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the First Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and House Utilities Sector of the republic Damir Shaydullin informed that huge work in capital overhaul of 713 social and cultural facilities have been completed in the republic with the total cost of work of 15bn rubles.

On 20 December, in his address on the occasion of the Russian Security Bodies Officers Day, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the service with their professional holiday and wrote: “ Throughout the history of our state, security agencies have stood guard over national interests of Russia and protected the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country. Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of competition committee “Manager of the Year – 2025”

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.
