Capital repair works started at 502 of 830 multi-apartment houses in Tatarstan

On April 23, speaking at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin said that capital repair works have started at 502 of 830 multi-apartment houses.  

Faizullin reported that this year a total of 830 multi-apartment houses in 41 municipalities, besides Alekseevsky, Antinsky, Kaibitsky, and Drozhzhanovsky regions, were included in the capital repair programme.

The Minister noted that qualification selections of contractors have been carried out in all regions. It is planned to improve living conditions of 194,500 citizens, with the programme funding making 4.7 billion roubles.

Faizullin reminded that the capital repair programme for 2016 lists 147 educational institutions, including  80 comprehensive schools, 15 correctional schools and 52 kindergartens. As of April 22, works are underway at 147 facilities.

Irek Faizullin reported on the implementation of the programme for the construction of houses to improve living conditions for the veterans of the World War II.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who also took part in the meeting, has given an errand to take the quality of new houses for the war veterans under serious control.  “No veteran should be neglected by the authorities,” Minnikhanov stressed.

Then Faizulllin reported on the programme of capital repair and construction of children's health camps. In 2016, nine health camps are scheduled for capital repair, two for construction and one for reconstruction. As of 22 April, the work has been commenced at all the capital repair sites. Almetievsk and Musliumovo regions have completed the work, the Minister said.

A total of 43 sites in 36 municipalities are included in the Parks and Gardens programme. Twenty one sites in 20 municipalities are expected to be improved within the water reservoirs improvement programme.
