Rustam Minnikhanov visits Yegoriev’s Greenhouses in Laishevo Region in Tatarstan

On May 5, during his working trip to Laishevo region, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Yegoriev’s Greenhouses farm.

The investment project, launched in 2015,  is implemented in Yegoriev rural settlement. The farm that is part of Leto Group grows vegetables and herbs, including parsley, dill, celery, basil and mint.

According to a farm co-owner Vusal Mamiev, the total covered ground space is about 4 hectares. As of today, greenhouses have been installed on a space of one hectare, onions being grown on about 0.5 hectares. The total investment in the project is 200 million roubles, 60 jobs will be created. At the moment the farm employs about 40 people.  

By the autumn this year, a fresh herbs processing workshop, as well as a vegetable washing and cleaning line, are expected to be installed.

The Leto Company set up in 2012 is one of the largest suppliers of fresh herbs in Russia’s central region, and actively cooperates with many retailers. The company’s main greenhouse facilities, over 4 hectares, are located in Moscow region. Besides, Leto owns a 1.2-hectare facility in Tula region.
