Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in Austria-Tatarstan business forum

On May 10, during his working visit to Vienna, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met President of the Austrian Economic Chamber Christoph Leitl. They discussed issues of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

Christoph Leitl noted that Tatarstan and Austria have a lot of common interests, including business, personnel training and education.

Later on Rustam Minnikhanov and Christoph Leitl took part in Austria-Tatarstan business forum. In his welcome speech Christoph Leitl expressed interest in investing in special economic zones in Tatarstan. He noted that the forecast for 2017 is favourable.

Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in attracting Austrian business and will render necessary support. He mentioned successful activity of Austrian companies Wienerberger and Swarovski, enterprises producing composite materials, and close cooperation between KAMAZ and Austrian business.
