President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov meets chief of Russian football union

Kazan is a football capital in Russia, RFU President Sergei Fursenko maintains. He stated this during a meeting with RT President R.N. Minnikhanov at the House of RT Government.
Opning the meeting R.Minnikhanov said that Russia lives with a feeling of new rise of football. Besides he mentioned that current state of football cannot satisfy neither officials nor fans. «Therefore we fully and completely support that work which is held by new leadership of new Russian football union», - RT President underlined.

Head of the republic backed the idea on arranging competitions among university football teams. Alongside, by R.Minnikhanov’s opinion it is necessary to draw more attention to the fans. «These ate not merely viewers, they are our allies who will help to raise football in Russia» , - Rt President believe.

By words of R. Minnikhanov Academy of physical culture and sports being created in Kazan could be involved in preparing coach and referee staff. President of Tatarstan addressed to head of RFU with a proposal to consider such a possibility.

By opinion of republic’s head, obtaining the right to hold world championship 2018 in Russia will promote developing football in Russia. «Holding world championship will be a great stimulus for progressing football», - R.Minnikhanov is sure.

A special attention Tatarstan president paid to Code of honor of Russian football developed by RFU. «We sympathize very much the aspiration of Russian football union to make football clean», - R.Minnikhaniov said to Sergei Fursenko.

«Tatarstan – football region therefore our encounters with RFU management should go on, - president of the republic underlines. – We all live in football and feel keenly for it».
In his turn Sergei Fursenko stated that football capital of Russia moved to Kazan. Head of RFU marked that football is strong first of all by regions therefore it is necessary to create conditions for developing this kind of sport.

«Kazan – best place in Russia where football is developing, - Sergei Fursenko stated. – We should take hands and together to 2018. I am absolutely sure that our interaction will be demonstrative for all Russia».

As deputy RT State Council Chairman Alexandr Gusev informed, in Tatarstan, presently, 45 ths. people go in for football, 10 ths. of them in sports schools, 5 ths. have passport of football player. There are 52 stadiums in Tatarstan, including 37 with stands more 1500 seats, 18 fields with artificial covering. The same time existing infrastructure is not enough, A.Gusev states. Program of football development in Tatasrtan planned for the period of from 2011 to 2018 envisages appearance of the fields with artificial covering in all settlements numbering over 10 ths. people.

Chief of coach of football club «Rubin» Kurban Berdyiev offered Sergei Fursenko to set up throughout Russia 5-7 regional centers of RFU. «One such center could exist in Kazan and you could delegate number of authorities, for instance, holding courses», - coach of «Rubin» addressed to RFU chief.

Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin in his turn informed that tournament of street teams «Kozhany myach» has been revived in Kazan, only in final part of the tournament 3800 children take part. Final matches are observed by representatives of football club «Rubin», including by chief coach K. Berdyiev who seeks to find talented boys. Besides, competition between city sports schools is held.

At the end of meeting President of Tatarstan and head of RFU Sergei Fursenko signed Code of honor of Russian football. As S. Fursenko marked after the meeting in an interview with journalists, this document has already been signed by number of regions. By opinion of RFU chief, code of honor of a principal document for football development . «Now in every sports school such a Code of honor would appear signed by Rt President and President of Russian football union», - S. Fursenko emphasized.
