All Tatarstan teachers will have received personal computer note-books by September 1, 2011

Within the republican project «Computer to teacher» almost 13 ths. teachers from 375 schools of Tatarstan have received computer note-books. This was informed by head of RT Ministry education and science Albert Gilmutdinov at a session chaired by RT Prime minister I.Kh. Khalikov in format of video conference with heads of municipal formations on project "Electronic school".

Please note, in April 2010, at the initiative of RT President within Year of teacher two projects started in the republic «Computer to school» and «Computer to teacher». According to information presented by Albert Gilmutdinov, by the beginning of year more thousand republican schools have received about 11 ths. modern computers and fully renovated their computer park. Within the project «Computer to school» almost 13 ths. teachers (about one third) form 375 Tatarstan schools received note-books. As Minister underlined by September 1, 2011, all teachers of Tatarstan will have be provided with note-books and likely this process to be stepped up.
Albert Gilmutdinov marked that within "Electronic school" project it is not sufficient to equip educational institutions with "hardware". By words of Minister, presently 47 schools have access to Internet through optic fiber lines, by the end of 2010 more 108 schools will have be switched. In 2011 already all schools numbering more 500 pupils will have access to Internet through “optic” Minister informed that 2048 RT schools have been linked to Internet, exclusion make only ungraded schools. So 70 have already received modems, the issue is to be considered on 3G-technologies.

Ildar Khalikov informed that the questions are received on training teachers with operational system "Windows 7", by which note-books aew equipped. RT Minister of education and science marked in context of program "Electronic school" a serious attention is paid to raising ICT –competence of teachers. So 92 per cent of teachers passed last years courses on informatization. Almost 13 ths. Teachers who received personal note-books passed 25-hours course of preparation on 8 modules for effective use of computers in academic process. "We will continue training process – soon program “Intel” is to be launched for teachers, leaders of education. After its realization the competence of teachers should be raised", - he stressed.

Minister suggested to hold prior the year end representation research of Info-Communication Technologies –competence of RT teachers and pupils. "We shall monitor this level and adjust feedback. We will hold start research and develop ICR-portrait of every educational institution. The program of informatization of each school will be worked out for maximum use of electronic education", - Albert Gilmutdinov emphasized.
By words of minister, the website patterns have been developed for all schools due to which they may be elaborated at high level. "Soon we will create software basis full - fledged management of educational process in each school", - he said. Besides, the work is being organized on creation of pedagogical communities of teachers on certain subject. Presently, 8,5 ths. teachers are active participants of such communities.
As part of republican project a process is under way of developing digital educational resources, highly professional content. "The work is under way on systematization of existing resources. Besides, RT Ministry of education and science is developing methodical guides on each subject, verified sources have been located on ministry website. Almost 400 digital educational resources have been developed by our teachers", - minister informed.

As Ildar Khalikov underlined, each municipal region should contribute its share in realization of the program "Electronic school". Prime minister is sure that head of municipal formations should take under their own control program implementation.
"Those decisions accepted in the republic in context of "Electronic school", program give a chance to us modern technologies for raising quality of education, easing the work of teachers, - Head of RT government stated. – Each pupil of the republic should enjoy equal possibilities - despite of school where they study".
