Potential investors and Tatarstan Prime Minister visit Alabuga Special Economic Zone

On May 30, Tatarstan Prime Minister accompanied the delegation of the Changhong company (China) led by its Chief Investment Officer Yan Jun at the Alabuga Special Economic Zone.

The Changhong Company is one of China's largest manufacturers of household appliances. The company is considering Tatarstan as a platform to enter the Russian market. Now the company representatives are choosing the most suitable site to launch a plant for production of televisions.

The Chinese delegation was shown possibilities and incentives provided to investors at the Alaguga Special Economic Zone. In his turn Khalikov pointed out that the SEZ is the most developed industrial site in Tatarstan, offering a range of tax and customs privileges along with the extended infrastructure.

The Changhong looked around the “Synergy” and “A Plus Park” industrial parks as they consider renting ready production sites at the first stage of the project implementation.
