Maleic anhydride producing plant to be built in Tatarstan

On June 7, at a briefing at the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina told that by results of the visit of Tatarstan delegation headed by President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov to Germany on June 1-3, 2016, some investment projects have been developed.
Taliya Minullina informed that Germany invested 1.4 bln dollars in 2015. The most interesting spheres for Tatarstan are transport technologies, engineering centers, biomedicine, opening of high technology industrial enterprises in the republic.
Construction of Maleic anhydride producing plant in Tatarstan is another prospective joint project.

On 15 December, speaking at a meeting of the competition committee of the regional public competition “The Manager of the Year” about its results in 2025, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin said that the list of 155 participants (nominees), who are heads of enterprises and organizations from various industries and sectors of the economy, for the competition was formed based on recommendations from regional ministries and departments, city and district municipalities, employers' associations and the Federation of Trade Unions of the republic.

On 6 December speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported about progress in implementation of the of multi-apartment houses capital overhaul programme.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.
