Rustam Minnikhanov hands over state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to poet Renat Kharisov and composer Rezeda Akhiyarova

On June 14, at the Fireplace Hall of the Governor's Palace in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov handed over state awards of the Republic of Tatarstan to poet and writer Renat Kharisov and composer Rezeda Akhiyarova.

Minnikhanov gave in medals for “Valorous Labor” to Kharisov and Akhiyarova.

In her turn, Akhiyarova thanked Minnikhanov for appreciation of their activity and support of musical art in general.

Akhiyarova also expressed her hope that the regional leadership will be always attentive towards the art community and composers of the republic.

Minnikhanov wished Renat Kharisov and Rezeda Akhiyarova further success. "We sincerely respect your work, your creativity, all that you do. You promote our culture, your works of art are symbolic. Of course, we will continue to support all your initiatives," Minnikhanov said. 

Aide to Tatarstan President Leila Fazleeva, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, Chairman of the Russian Union of Composers, Chairman of Tatarstan Union of Composers Rashid Kalimullin and others took part in a solemn ceremony.
