Rustam Minnikhanov visits agricultural exhibition during DLG Field Days in Germany

On June 15, Tatarstan delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of an agricultural exhibition DLG Field Days in Germany.

DLG Field Days is the largest agricultural open-air exhibition in Germany and a very important event for European agrarians. This year 300 companies will present their achievements.

DLG Vice-president Philipp Schulze Esking welcomed Tatarstan delegation and reminded that he visited Kazan in 2015. Rustam Minnikhanov had a conversation with Martin Schussler, State Counsellor of the Department for EU affairs and international cooperation, who expressed his confidence in high cooperation potential of Germany and Tatarstan in the sphere of forestry and seed fund development.

Minnikhanov invited Martin Schussler to visit “Field days” in Tatarstan on June 29.

Students of the University of Hohenheim presented an autonomous robot for agricultural industry. Rustam Minnikhanov offered to send young engineers, who develop such projects in the republic, to DLG Field Days.

Rustam Minnikhanov also met DLG project manager Reinhard Roßberg, who told about the company’s history.
