Tatarstan to develop relations with PricewaterhouseCoopers

On June 16, at his meeting with executives of PricewaterhouseCoopers during St.Petersburg international economic forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the republic is interested in developing relations with PricewaterhouseCoopers that successfully works in Russian and Tatarstan markets. Major regional industrial companies cooperate with the company in the sphere of audit services.

Director of PwC in Russia Igor Lotakov told about projects that have been implemented in Tatarstan and presented new areas, including attraction of investors to industrial sites of the republic, development of private-state partnership, and implementation of the project “Lean region”. Another area is cooperation in agricultural sector.

As for attraction of investors, Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned Sviyazhsk multi-modal logistics center and Innopolis SEZ. Also, he offered promoting halal products made in Tatarstan, considering that there are 20 mln Muslims living in Russia.

Representatives of PwC noted that this project is being implemented in Malaysia.

Participation of PricewaterhouseCoopers in the organization of World skills-2019 was also discussed at the meeting.
