Rustam Minnikhanov meets with management of CNH Industrial Russia

On June 16, at his meeting with Regional Director of CNH Industrial Russia Roberto Valfre di Bonzo at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that agricultural machinery produced by CNH Industrial is in demand in the Russian market.  

Minnikhanov reminded that the CNH corporation has been actively working in the Tatarstan market. Six years ago, a joint venture CNH-KAMAZ for the production of tractors, combines and excavators under the brand name “New Holland” and “Case IH” was established.

“We are grateful to your company for the implementation of this project,” Minnikhanov said. He also noted that at present the CNH Industrial is in talks with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia to conclude a special investment contract, which envisages localization of production facilities.

“Given the shortage of tractors in the country, we support the company's initiative to increase the level of localization of tractors and combine harvesters,” Minnikhanov said.

They also discussed issues related to further cooperation.

Tatarstan President also said that on June 22. 2016 in Naberezhnye Chelny the CHN Industrial plant will open a training center for specialists of the construction, transport and agricultural sectors.
