On June 16, heads of Russian regions, including Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, employees of Russian Ministry of Economic Development, Russian export center and regional infrastructure of export support, and industry associations took part in a panel discussion “Russian regions – key growth points” during St. Petersburg economic forum. Integration of regional mechanisms of export support on the federal level was discussed at the session.

Speaking at the session, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that small and medium-size business needs state support, especially with export operations. He reminded that these issues were also discussed at a meeting held by first deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov on June 10.

Moreover, a unified information resource with the data on required certificates for product supply on the foreign markets is needed.

As a positive example of the participation of small business in export supplies Rustam Minnikhanov mentioned Eidos company that produces medical simulators.
