In view of holding All-Russia census 2010 President of Republic Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov addressed to Tatarstners

Dear Tatarstners!
All Russia census has started all over Russia. Second time such a scale action all-state level aimed at presenting objective life picture of our society is being held in new Russia.
Census of households as called to specify social –economic status of population.
Previous years a big and diversified preparatory has been held in which state and municipal power bodies, general public of our republic took part.
The results of census will laid in foundation of determining social -economic perspectives of cities and regions development, all municipal formations, forecasting demographic and migration processes, continuation of reforms in healthcare and pension provision, education and culture, housing –communal services, forming budgets of all levels.
In our multinational republic, the census issues displaying ethnic and language structure of population always called a big attention. In one word , the point is about modern ethno-cultural position of all nations living in Tatarstan.
Therein in conformity with Constitution of republic a special meaning traditionally is centered to the issues of ethno-cultural and development and unity of Tatar people. This reflects real moods of and finds support in public.
National policy of Republic Tatarstan always is pursuit in interests of all its peoples, inclusive of all society spirits. The Concept of state national policy of Republic Tatarstan is focused at this. There should be no doubts that republican bodies of state power further will follow these principles.
Census is held under a slogan «Each is important for Russia ». I address to all Tatarstaners with an appeal to take active part in census. Only this way we are able to provide its success, adequacy and significance of results.
On 1 April Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Minister of Healthcare Mikhail Murashko introduced Ayrat Farrakhov, who was appointed the Acting Rector of Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) to its staff.
In his speech Mikhail Murashko emphasized that today KSMU is rightfully considered one of the most respected in the country and said:”Ayrat (Zakievich) has been officially appointed the Acting Rector and I am sure that under his leadership the University will maintain the positions it has achieved and, of course, will continue its development.”
On 31 March in the Government House of the republic Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Leyla Fazleeva hold a meeting of the Commission on the Russian language under the Rais of Tatarstan, which considered key issues of supporting and developing Russian language, including new educational initiatives and discussed programmes of popularization of Russian literature and activities to preserve the language heritage.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Azat Ziganshin informed that the regional central cleaning up action will be held in the republic on 25 April and clarified that the location of the national cleanup day will be announced later as the site will be chosen taking into account the opinions of Tatarstan residents.
On 28 March, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed about statistics on the collection of utility bills payments from the population and data on the payment discipline of enterprises and organizations of the republic.
