Among Russian regions Tatarstan prevails in number of veterans needy of improving living conditions

13196 veterans of Great Patriotic War were registered for improving living conditions in Tatarstan according to data for October, 14. This was said today by Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin at the meeting on issues of housing construction and commissioning including the program of State housing fund under RT President and housing construction for veterans of Great Patriotic War.

The meeting was held by RT Prime Minister in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions.

By words of Airat Shafigullin, assimilation of funds under the program of providing housing for veterans in republic makes 10 bln. roubles.

Still the issue of moving into flats by veterans is an urgent one.

Airat Shafigullin asked likewise to pay much attention to the fact that realization of program should be finished by the end of 2010 and changing the time is out of question.

Ildar Khalikov noted that by and large throughout Tatarstan 46,9 % of veterans had already moved into new flats.

Minister of construction, architecture and housing Marat Khusnullin noted that among all Russian regions Tatarstan prevails in number of veterans needy of improving living conditions.

RT Prime Minister Ildrar Khalikov reminded heads of municipal regions to work thoroughly on registering veterans and collection of necessary documents.
