Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny city elected

The first session of City council of deputies of the 2nd convocation was held in Naberezhnye Chelny city with participation of RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Head of the city was elected at the session.

Chairman of municipal elective commission Azat Fatkhetdinov opened the event.

Deputy Yury Zolotukhin suggested the candidate Vasil Shaikhraziev to the post of mayor.

Later on, on behalf of RT President RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented Vasil Shaikhraziev to the post of Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny city.

Director General of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergey Kogogin supported the candidate saying that investment attractiveness and reputation of the city play an important role in development of “KAMAZ”.

After that Vasil Shaikhraziev was asked to speak. He briefly told about his activity for the last five years and achievements of the city.

On October, 25 at the next session of City Council elected mayor will take the oath. Moreover, the council will assign his deputy and approve the list of permanent commissions, presidium and announce the contest for replacement of vacant posts and executive committee.
