Tatarstan and Bashkortostan to develop cooperation in petrochemical industry

On June 29, the concept of cooperation development between Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in petrochemical industry was presented at a board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding” at Tatarstan Government House. The concept was developed by the holding and Bashkortostan Ministry of industry and innovative policy by the order of leaders of the republics.

The concept aims to set priority areas of cooperation development, specify product range and volume for mutual supplies, and choose joint projects.

Tatneft Oil Company has established good relations with Bashkir colleagues, and relies on new technologies in well drilling, exploration of the use of associated petroleum gas, and development of super-viscous oil fields.

Construction of Heavy Residue Conversion Complex is a priority project of TAIF-NK oil refining plant.

Tatarstan President supported expansion of cooperation between the republics, and required to set up a cooperation plan, establish working groups, and hold meetings once in three months.
