Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Republic of Tyva

On June 30, Tatarstan President arrived on a working visit in the Republic of Tyva.
Tomorrow, on July 1, during their meeting Minnikhanov and Acting Head of the Republic of Tyva Sholban Kara-ool will sign an Agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical, social and cultural cooperation between the two republics.
Tatarstan President will also visit the Center of Asia sculpture complex and the House of Tourism.

In 2014, the trade turnover between Tatarstan and Tyva amounted to 6.5 mln roubles (which increased by six times as compared with 2013). Tatarstan delivers clothes and shoes, medical supplies, as well as passenger buses to Tyva.
Tyva did not deliver any goods to Tatarstan in 2014.

On 4 December Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Shamil Gafarov, who is the Chief of Staff of the Office of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic, took part in a strategic session on the establishment of an inter-university campus in the republic being held at the Kazan Aircraft University on 4-6 December with participation of more than 100 people and more than 40 experts in politics, economy, science, education and industry from all over Russia.

On 1 December Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in N.I. Lobachevsky Prize and Medal Award Ceremony held in Kazan Federal University and handed in the award to the Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chief Researcher of the St. Petersburg Department of Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences Sergei Ivanov who was awarded for the outstanding achievements in fundamental and applied mathematics.
